Strong Towns Curbside Chat

A nationally sought after speaker, Chuck Marohn, PE, AICP, is the President and Co-Founder of the non-profit Strong Towns. His background as an engineer and planner give him an intimate understanding of how land use and infrastructure projects get designed, funded and built.

Strong Towns is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that travels the nation to promote a complete understanding of the costs that are associa­ted with our communities’ methods of growth to achieve financial strength and resiliency.

Chuck has given over 200 presentations to public officials, staff professionals and local citizens in the last five years to help them find a new pathway forward.

About the Curbside Chat:
The Curbside Chat program covers the causes and impacts of the current economic crisis, examines case studies on the finances of America’s development pattern, reviews ideas of the suburban era we need to shelter, and proposes strategies for adjusting to the new realities we face.
