This Weekend In Downtown Fargo (Feb 8-10)

Neil Simon’s “Rumors” is running for the second weekend (Feb. 8 & 9 at 7:30) at The Stage at Island Park.  The folks at the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre call it an “over-the-top comedy.”  Learn more here.

Also this weekend (its first of a three week run) is “Sweet Nothing: A (Grim) Fairytale” by Stephanie Timm.  The production, by Theatre B, is the first of its incubator series, and examines violence through a fairytale lens.  For details, click here.

Today (Friday), Carl Oltvedt will be setting up shop and painting before your eyes at the Rourke Museum   Come to the museum to see his latest exhibit — Observations — and enjoy an artist at work.  For details, click here.  Carl will also hold a gallery talk Sunday afternoon at the Museum.

And, finally, Steve Stark will begin to wrap up History Sundays at the Hjemkomst.  This family-friendly event is a must for history buffs.  Spend an hour to watch Steve illustrate area history.  It’s a great event — and you might learn something, too!  For details, click here.
